I bought these a year ago for a kid who wanted to wear skirts all the time but needed better weather protection than their usual favorite dresses. She has worn them so many times. They came in pretty soft and stayed soft. The fabric had some pilling but generally they are worn well by a child who plays GOOD. They are easy to wash and dry, although it takes a little longer with a skirt. If my kid hadn't been so insistent on wearing them so often, I might have dried up. They can be appropriate for church or play and have reduced dress disputes in our house by a factor of ten. Would definitely buy again.
