I have used them referencing 6 football matches of varying competition. They provide incredibly helpful communication and improve teamwork among judges. My first test run was to judge a 12U Academy girls game with younger ARs, one of whom was a first year official. I've also used them with fairly experienced officers at high school games. So far everyone is happy to work with it. From training new officials to providing information in competitive situations, they enhance the experience. Working in pairs gives you a headache. In my experience I have to pair them once a day, I printed out the information from the Revain product page and learned the process but I didn't learn how to pair them. The radio and wristband feel solid. enough, the headset is smaller - the wire is thin. The overall durability is not yet known. You'll need a roll of medical tape to keep with you to keep the headset in place while sprinting. NO instructions included; there is no mention of the website on or in the packaging. The sound quality and microphone sensitivity are very good. It's not hi-fi, but you can hear what they're saying. And no, the whistle doesn't bother anyone. Would buy more and send to interested colleagues.
