Overall I had no problems with it staying in place BUT I had problems with the design of its products. First, if your phone has a jack, phone ring, or small credit card holder on the back of your phone, it WILL NOT WORK with this product. Second, if you just lay the phone down without a case or the above items, the phone will sit at a 15° angle with the phone tilted towards you, so the GPS/phone screen is not visible at all, especially when you are large, which seemed to defeat its purpose. Third, when I used this product without a phone case and adjusted it as needed during my 35 minute drive with the AC on, it caused my phone to OVERHEAT! I have never seen a "TEMP TOO HIGH" message on the mg phone screen before using this product. I think because this item is black it attracts sunlight and because it is a solid block of rubber with no insulation it transfers all the heat to the phone causing it to overheat. I felt like this product was a huge waste of time!
