A number of other reviews mention that these mirrors can break if over tightened. I thought that was right. The metal knot attached to the end pole is quite fragile. Installing them on your bike leaves everything a little lost while you make adjustments. Do not tighten until everything looks correct. I broke one of the clips trying to adjust its position after attaching the mirror to the end of the pole. However, customer service was on hand and sent me a replacement free of charge within a day, no questions asked. thought it was pretty cool. Now I can actually see what's behind me instead of looking at the reflection of my shoulder.
