Review on Brusheez® Kids Electric Toothbrush Carnivore by Amanda Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Worked TWO whole days

I wish it allowed lower stars. This product was an extreme disappointment. I don't normally leave product reviews, but I felt compelled to write to other parents warning about this toothbrush. I'm considering not just one toothbrush, but two since my original order contained two (a dinosaur and a teddy bear). They are cute and the concept is great. It includes a timer for kids to make sure they brush their teeth within two minutes. A cup is also included to prevent the inevitable mess when children try to rinse their mouths. Overall they look great in the photo and my son (age 5) and brother (age 8) were very excited to have their teeth cleaned again. However, the first day we opened the product, my son's toothbrush was not working. I thought it was the battery and changed it immediately. It worked once you had to wiggle your toothbrush to work properly. Also, the next day, one of the nozzles just came off the neck. I had to maneuver to keep it in place. The quality of the product is extremely low and cheap. The next day the brush just stopped working and even when I replaced the battery (which I did the day before) it stopped working. My brothers lasted longer. Whole week. After that, the toothbrush refused to work. In other words, I paid $40 (19.99 for a set of toothbrushes) for a timer and a mug. I strongly recommend other parents NOT to buy this toothbrush for their kids as it doesn't last long.
