This review is dedicated to the SJCAM C100+. The main advantage of this camera is its light weight and compact dimensions. I have two other action cams that are slightly larger and about half the price, but I've found them to keep falling off my helmet due to their weight. I'm happy to report that this camera is very light so it doesn't put too much pressure on the camera mount adhesive and as a bonus the camera tends to stay in place compared to a heavier camera. This offers several different recording resolutions - I should note that the "4k" mode is 4:3 4k, not the usual 16:9, so I wouldn't call this camera 4k. However, it records up to 2k in 16:9, but I only record in 1080p myself. Image quality at 1080p at 30fps looks pretty good - the camera seems to have some sort of edge enhancement adding a bit of sharpness, but there are some artifacts in the video footage. If you look at the still image I captured from the video, you can see that the tree leaves are a bit washed out, but the imprint on the road is pretty clear. Colors look pretty good and dynamic range is okay but not great. It does have image stabilization, but it doesn't seem to do much for the kind of stabilization I need, which is smoothing out video while biking/scootering the city streets. Battery life is decent considering the size of the camera - the manufacturer says 1.5 hours at 4K and I really don't think it's worth more than an hour. Still, it's not bad considering the size of this camera. This camera has a button and no display (again due to the size). Long press to turn on the camera, short press to start/stop recording, double press to turn on Wi-Fi. You must set up the camera entirely through the app. The application connects to the camera via Wi-Fi and, in addition to various settings, including resolution and frame rate, offers a live view of the camera and allows downloading clips from the camera. I had no problems connecting to the camera or app. This camera supports H265 and H264 encoding; H265 encoding results in 5-minute videos of 212MB each at 1920 x 1080p at 30fps. The package includes various mounting accessories - a helmet mount, another flat surface mount, a clip on the mount, and regular and waterproof cases. Please note that the waterproof case does not let any sound through at all. Overall I really like the size and weight of this camera and think the video quality and features are great given the size and weight limitations.
