Review on Style and Comfort Combined: Goodthreads ๐Ÿ‘” Perfect Oxford Slim Fit Long Sleeve Men's Clothing by Douglas First

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for me seems like a really good shirt so far

This is my first OCBD (Oxford buttoned fabric) so unfortunately I can't compare to other brands. However, my first impression is that it's really good, especially for the price. I've done a lot of research, mostly via /r/malefashionadvice on Reddit, on which brands make quality shirts at reasonable prices, and have concluded that most of the recommended brands have either dropped in quality over the last few years, or they are too expensive for me. I decided to give these Goodthreads a try as I've heard some pretty good stuff and it's a really good price. The only downside I could (probably) find is that the collar is smaller than some people would like, but I'll get to that later. but it's on a different list. The standard fit has one pocket and no pockets on the same side, but for a slim fit these are two different offerings for some reason. At first I was disappointed that the slim fit didn't have a pocket until finally realizing they have both versions. I have this in a medium size and I would say it fits me almost perfectly. Not baggy, but not tight either. I'm 6'0" and 172 pounds, not skinny but not particularly athletic either. I almost never buy a button-down shirt unless it's a fitted one, because they're usually just too big in the back .really thin and I find it very comfortable and I think it suits me well. The material is thicker than a normal shirt but not very thick. It's quite soft and comfortable but looks and feels like a more durable shirt , I could easily dress it up or down. Now about the collar. A lot of people at /r/malefashionadvice on Reddit complain about small collars. When wearing a tie, allow the role of the collar you want. To be honest I get it it doesn't, or maybe I just don't care. I measured this one at 2.5-2.75". Then I measured my shirts (J. Ferrar Slim Fit by JCPenney) and they are the same. I never thought That they look bad with a tie Collar on that shirt It may not be as large as some of the more expensive or traditional shirts but it seems normal to me. I don't plan on wearing a tie with it anyway, so the collar is fine with me.
