The sizes are listed as: 4-1010.5-4 This leads me to think that 4 to 10 is the smaller of the two sizes. Neither the description nor the photos indicate otherwise. So for those wondering, size 10 1/2 to 4 is medium and size 4 to 10 is large. I am returning my order because my child needs a small one. The socks look decent and I would keep them if it weren't for the sizing issue.
