I like this type of belt because I can adjust the excess belt behind the buckle instead of in front like most belts. Also, this belt has no attachment holes like other styles of belts and can be adjusted to any size from a few inches to the full length of 54 feet as needed. This belt is nearly identical to the woven military belt worn by the US Navy Trousers. I say "almost" because I was trying to use my military buckle with this belt instead of the plain one that came with it, and the belt is a bit thinner for the military buckle to grab it. As the material is thinner I can imagine it wearing out quicker than the last one I had of this type (different brand). Eventually, the belt will begin to "twist" and wear out along its entire length. However, I should get a good year out of it, just like last time. I wish I could find a belt of this height and length but with the thickness of a military belt. So far the only ones I've found with the right thickness were too wide for my military buckle.
