This bat bag was bought for my 5 year old daughter. It seemed like a lot of kids in the league had a backpack-style bat bag, and I vacillated between that style and that more "traditional" style. I finally settled on this bag thinking it would provide more room to grow (for her and her siblings). As it turned out, she used the bag's handles over her shoulder and carried it like a backpack with ease. The bag had plenty of room and could hold the following: a bat, a ball helmet, her glove, her little brother's glove, her father's glove, several balls, and her team's hat. The hook was great, hung the bag on the fence while playing and she was able to easily pack and unpack things when needed. The material is durable and although she kept it clean for a short season, it appears to be capable of being cleaned.
