Look closely at the pictures, they are designed to hold cords together but are not weatherproof.
Wanted to buy rain covers to protect the patio light wiring connections. They have medium-sized holes at the top and bottom to allow rainwater to enter easily. I don't know why they are designed that way as they could easily serve both purposes just by changing the design. My mistake for not looking closely. Return and buy something else.
