While searching for nautical accessories I came across this "Smooth sea never made a talented sailor" keychain. It's undeniably cute, and the anchor design is spot on. I love how the engraved quote can encourage a person to remain resilient in the face of adversity. The keychain is made of stainless steel and is therefore very durable. However, I was a bit disappointed that the finish looked darker than the photo. I think I was expecting a shinier or more polished look. Another issue I had with the keychain was its size. It's quite big and heavy, which makes my keys look unwieldy. If that appeals to you, that's no problem. But for someone like me who prefers a more minimalistic approach, it was a little frustrating. All in all, this is a good gift for those who love sailing or are inspired by nautical analogies. The quote is timeless and the anchor design is classic. Just make sure they're comfortable with a larger, more visible keychain.
