Review on πŸ—„οΈ Copco Basics 5 Compartment Drawer Organizer - 12.79 x 11.33 x 1.77-Inch - Steel Blue: Maximize Drawer Space and Keep Essentials Neatly Organized by John Souza

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good, cheap, easy.

Definitely nothing special about the Copco Basics 5 Compartment Drawer Organizer which most people like me will probably use for their cutlery. Since Copco calls it a drawer organizer, they might think some people will use it for other purposes. The plastic is strong and heavy, with four small rubber feet on the bottom that don't stop the organizer from sliding forward in the cutlery drawer, but instead it feels like it's designed to be used should you open it for some reason want to face a surface .may be scratched. There are blue rubber pads on the bottom of each compartment. Since white plastic cutlery organizers tend to get dirty easily and can discolour over time, a blue rubber grommet should help with that. It can also come in handy if you want it for something other than cutlery. My previous cutlery organizer, which was old, discolored and more than ready to be replaced, had 6 compartments instead of 5 - there were 5 vertical compartments and 1 horizontal compartment at the top. but this organizer was the same size as this one. With the 5 vertical cutlery compartments stacked straight up you can use the 4 spoon and fork compartments and still have your butter knives right next to you and you have an extra compartment at the top for small items. Due to the design of this organizer, each compartment has become significantly wider, which means that you can store more cutlery in each compartment, as the handles do not sit directly on top of each other, but slope down to the right and left. An organizer is a good deal, but people who want their cutlery to look very neat and straight should look for a 6-compartment organizer.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • No mold required
