I bought the brown self stitching and the buckle has a nice polished/brushed silver/nickel look which is what I wanted. The belt itself looks like a comfortable, medium-density genuine leather. When buying a belt, look out for all kinds of bad and imitation leather! This one was good so I got the same style in black embroidery.
