Great value! I replaced all my curly phosphors and halogens with these and they look amazing. Pros: - Bright! Maybe even brighter than a regular 60w bulb (in my opinion) - you can't tell it's an LED, the light looks as "warm" as a regular 60w bulb - 10 Up to 22 year life span I'm not sure if they will actually last that long but we'll see. - The box consumes 82% less electricity than halogen bulbs, we'll see again. - Only slightly warm to the touch even after hours of use. Don't be afraid that small children will burn themselves when touching the lamp. - Plastic so they don't shatter into sharp shards of glass in a fall. - Put this in my outdoor porch lamp and I swear it will attract fewer bugs than a regular 60w bulb, but my result is very unscientific as it could be temperature, rain or other factors reducing the bugs. Cons: - They don't work well with dimmers, but it is clearly stated in the ad. I will say it works for a small range and then flickers wildly which is bad for the lamp or your eyes. If you have a dimmer, you need to keep it at full power (which eliminates the cause of the dimmer). The porcelain base is hidden most of the time, but is clearly visible on some lamps and ceiling fans. I prefer this look a lot more than figure lights.
