therefore my light wood kitchen cabinets were BAD. so bad that I had to throw out and replace a few doors and drawer fronts. others were somewhere in between to salvage and just needed a major clean. I used a cleaner which is the other half of this stuff - and it did most of the hard work - and then this stuff, and seriously, the questionable doors/drawers are almost like new, the ones that are actually just dirty/ disgusting were like new. Cabinets transitioned from the worst part of my house to a display case. it seems impossible, but it's true.
