This is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a small, square, lightweight stool with storage for our camper. I wanted a light color (there are so many dark grays out there) to brighten up the dark brown RV interior; sturdy enough to be used as a footstool and occasional seat; light (because campers); with storage space for an extra blanket; and bonus if it had a top that could be used as a tray/coffee table. It ticks all the boxes! The rosewood under the lid is definitely not real but looks nice and solid. When the lid is flipped to the side of the table, it simply sits on top of the cube; it doesn't fit in, but it doesn't look like it's going to slip at all. The only downside is that once the legs are on they don't fold down like I intended. Here I am debating whether to keep the legs or remove them. But otherwise it's perfect. I just ordered another one!
