The type we used for many years was the 17 speed. I know for sure that it wasn't the 20th stage, but less. My husband took care of the gas stations and operated them. I stumbled upon an opportunity to try this one which claims to be level 20. I personally have no idea how to test this, so I can only offer you the pros or cons in this review. The first thing I noticed about 17 stages a few years ago was that after just a few showers, my skin was in such better condition that it made me sad to realize I didn't know how rough my skin was and how dry she was . So when I started using it I wasn't expecting a miracle to happen like it did the first time a few years ago because my skin has already improved and is much more hydrated than before so I had a bit low expectations . from that. For some reason I noticed that my hair was a bit drier than usual. I didn't give that much importance because I've relied so much on our filters that I don't look that much to identify the culprit. Well, I had to take a shower in the guest bathroom once while my husbands were shaving I think. Washing feet and his socks, I'm in the shower or something 🤨👀 so the powder room has one of the same branded shower filters we used and when I arrived our hair was insanely soft like it accidentally had a bit of conditioner left in it . That's when I realized that this 20-stop filter doesn't work as well as the last brand we used and it really doesn't compare. I don't like these at all. So why did I leave four stars instead of the two I should have gotten? Well my youngest daughter uses our showers daily, she has mild eczema, enough to be diagnosed but not enough to be prescribed. 😏 About a week ago I noticed that her skin was starting to wash her hair better, she had almost all her dandruff gone and we haven't changed her shampoos lately. My husband scratching his skin and it sounds like someone is scratching a cardboard box 🤮 lol still scratching but the crunch of those scratches has been greatly reduced. I know this because scratching the board gives me goosebumps and I either yell obscenely at him or have to leave the room so I can tell it's not that intense and he doesn't feel the need to scratch his shoulders or so long to spawn. , proves to me that this shower filter actually works, even if for some reason I'm not reaping all the potential benefits it has. My daughter's eczema has improved significantly and my husband's inability to control scratching and scratching 🤢 has decreased! Plus, this one comes with refills, which is a nice touch. The whole system comes in a very nice box and would make a great gift! I will continue to use them until the time comes to replace them. And then I'll see if there are other notable improvements. So far I don't really like it. But I can see the difference it makes and these things are worth my four stars.
