Review on πŸ”¦ DGZZI Portable Mini 8-LED USB Light - 2pcs Set for Outdoor Camping, Night Lamp, Power Bank - Warm White by Chp Rodgers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I connected them back to back to fit in the Star LED Light lampshade.

a pretty white plastic star shade to work with USB and to be able to run from an AC adapter instead of AC To do this I had to do some damage to the original light shade which was to shorten the length of the one star point where the cord was inserted. You have to insert the cords and then no problem with the plastic star itself so No problem with the plastic star itself, to do what I did I had two options: Cut the tip shorter which can look very odd, even when I tried to glue it back on there was no way I could get the cord with the plug. So even the USB extension cable couldn't go through the hole on the narrow part of the plastic lampshade. So I decided to cut one of the corners completely from top to bottom before the star part was a is attached to the frame and this allowed me to slip into the d box with connectors on both ends and use double sided foam tape to tape those two connectors together to connect, back to the taillights. This also now means I had to use two USB splitters/hub extenders that I didn't have, or use two cables that I did have. So I chose two cords that run very, very tightly through the narrowest tip of the sprocket or beam or whatever you want to call it. But it worked. You can barely see or notice the corner cut mark on the fillet weld. So now I have a USB star and it's bright enough. Inside the star was a frame that held the original bulb and cord toward the center of the star as it was assembled. And so I could use this to center it. I'm ready for vacation with one, so to speak. I have another exact same star and want to do something similar, only I'm going to select an RGB lightbulb with a remote so I can use the remote to turn it on and change color. A pretty blue star can be beautiful. In any case, I can also go from this and two USB cables to one if I choose a regular camping LED lamp with a switch built into the cable. I love using power adapters and putting devices where AC power might not be present. I have now allowed myself this and the other possibilities and opened more doors. But I think this year will be just right. I also bought a set of 3 identical LED plugs in different styles straight into the USB sockets and two of them didn't work because you had to touch them to turn them on. It is NOT possible to touch once inside the lamp. You don't need to touch this. I double checked and so far so good with the added switch extension to the power supply. I had a power supply that refused to work with this light, not sure but I know it is related to this power supply as all the others I have work fine. I have 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 and even 5700 power banks of different brands and all but one worked so there is a lot to choose from here. I was concerned that gluing it together would make one side too dark and show the shadow inside the star, but that's not a problem, the light emits enough light that it's not visible from any angle. I could use even longer LEDs than 8 in this model, but I was afraid they would be too long for the central body of the star. It would work. I don't understand why star manufacturers aren't switching to this style of LED. Guess I shouldn't complain, they used to only have air conditioning and they've been known to melt plastic curtains if they got too hot with those old-fashioned 25-watt Christmas tree lightbulbs. For years I was still tempted to buy them and then use an LED bulb, but when I finally bought a few as gifts they switched to LED bulbs. Just more AC juice. Now I can work with both AC and PSU adapters. Will buy again if one doesn't work.
