Review on 🐠 Efficient Aquatop Aquarium Submersible Pump for Superior Water Circulation by Darla Wilmoth

The outlet tube did not come with my unit. There is also a problem with the maximum head properties. If I mount the hose raised less than a foot (22" pump specs), the water blows out the front of the pump, not through the outlet hose. I disassembled the pump and noticed a plastic water guide (behind the flow regulator in the picture) that was supposed to provide a tight seal, but I didn't. When the outlet hose is not connected, the pump seems to have more power (water jet 10 inches vertically). Since it was a cheap pump and I'm a layman, I modified the pump. I used silicone sealant to glue the water flow guide to the pump body. Make sure the sealant is not blocking the outlet. I need to check if the water is going through the outlet pipe properly.
