No Eating No Buying: Iron and Steamer

Attachment: It's been 2 years since I returned this item and the seller emailed me with an offer (although I'd be shocked if they actually did anything would pay) to compensate me through Paypal or Revain for deleting my review. It's disgusting that Revain not only allows suppliers to see customer emails for reviews posted anonymously, but also that the supplier keeps emailing me after I've reported this activity to customer service. Don't trust this product. Don't trust this company. Let's start with the fact that the item I received was clearly returned early. The box it came in was damaged and the instruction manual was creased. I decided to plug it in and give it a try. Almost immediately everything reeked of burnt plastic, not just the usual smell of a running iron, but a heavy odor that immediately filled the room. Now I will say that the owner's manual was kind enough to warn me that this would happen, so I must give credit where it should be. However, it still wasn't a good demonstration of stability for a $40 product. After I let the steamer heat up and it beeped that it was done, almost no steam came out. I mean, I could safely put my hand in front of the nozzle and pull the trigger and it wouldn't get more than warm and wet. Needless to say, it did next to nothing to my shirt except get as damp as my spirit. Used and decided to return it.
