The Size-Small that I bought flare at the thighs almost like jodhpurs; the seat is rather wide for me as well.Contrary to the product description, (1) the pockets are not deep and (2) they are not side pockets but front (patch) pockets -- as is clear in the picture that they provide.I was willing to pay much more money for pants, but could not find anything that were really right. Those were the closest that met my needs. Given their price, I expected that they would not look look like quality pants -- and they don't. The fabric is rather thin. I washed them before wearing them; they didn't pill. After washing, the measurement from the top of the waistband to the inseam is 11".All that said, they're not unattractive.
