Everything I have read and researched about this product seems SO contradictory to what I received. I suspect this is a fake product as people I trust have said several times that this is the perfect cleansing oil, works really well for acne and claims it leaves no residue and dissolves makeup easily. It didn't get any of those things right. Parts of my makeup remained in the form of strange stains after prolonged massage. I felt like I was tugging hard at my skin to remove these remaining blemishes from my skin and gave up as I needed micellar water to loosen the residue before moving on to my second cleanser. I'm not new to cleansing oil and I do thorough research before I buy any product. I even felt like I had to clean TWICE with my second cleanser as it still leaves greasy residue which is never a good sign and my second cleanser is very good at deep cleaning so that's about it - then it says. You need to be careful when ordering beauty products from Revain as many sellers may soften the formula, change it to make more money, they may not buy their stock from a reliable source, or even ship a rancid product because they don't not store the product properly. In any event, I could tell that something was wrong with this formula and I would not order this particular product from here again.
