Few people listen to the 78rpm records I sometimes listen to. The vast majority of cheap turntables are junk. We bought a PE 3060, a good old 78 RPM record player. The 78 requires a 3 mil stylus and should NEVER be played with a microgroove stylus. The AT-VM95SP solved my problems, it sounds great and tracks great. Installing the AT-VM95SP was a daunting task that required additional hardware. Most new players will not be a problem. In addition, the AT-VM95 line offers a wide range of modern record needles at an affordable price. I love AT.
