FIVE OUT OF FIVE of my cats LOVE this bed. The bed is delivered as a block. You simply open the plastic packaging and bend the cardboard shape. You then use the two included rubber bands to secure it. Assembly takes five seconds! It can be easily unfolded and stowed away again into a small storage unit. They come with instructions. Ours came with a slight odor but it quickly faded. It's quite big but looks elegant in the room. This is a more complex cat bed. The quality is good and I think it's good value for money. When we bought it, we paid 19.99. My cats like to rest on it. I have a huge red tabby male, Tang, and he even had room! They also love to scratch it. Luckily, it releases only a tiny fraction of the cardboard waste. All in all, this is a great article. My cats love it! To update! I had to buy two more so the kata would have a better chance on this favorite piece.
