Over the years I have bought this container 4x for freshness and the next size up 6x smaller. First let me say it works really well for keeping groceries fresh hence my many purchases. I always hand wash containers and like to think I take good care of my clothes. With each of these containers, the quality of the materials used deteriorated and rendered the container unusable. I dropped a container on the floor and it jumped instantly. Look at my photos, plastic covers are cracked, torn or warped. I'm done! I'm so disappointed in the quality even though the container works to keep the food fresh for a while. They lost my customer loyalty and now I've bought Freshworks food storage containers from Rubbermaid.
