I like that it is small firm which gives you personal attention unlike biglaw. But they have some really bad procedures. They will send you an email asking for more information than your actually supposed to provide to qualify as an attorney. They also have a horrible system for handling discovery requests. They won't forward documents that other law firms would, so if they say they will get back to you and then never bother responding. If I was looking for someone who is friendly and can put up with me being picky about things, quarls would be fine. But the work quality and general experience level is just not great at all. Be very careful. Quarls makes the process of getting into school a little bit easier however at a large expense to yourself as they have one of the most expensive billing systems out there. So many bills were incorrectly billed or late payments were made without explanation. I have worked at this firm for over 25 years now so I am fairly familiar with how things work here. They are very professional and dedicated to service as well as providing excellent advice which is often hard to come by these days. When I was in school they had some amazing young attorneys that were quite talented. It's not always easy finding great people and having them stick around. But if you find someone who really loves what he or she does then it can pay off big time.
