I bought these shoes to wear in a friend’s wedding, and they were great! As some reviewers have noted, the tissue paper sticks to the tacky material holding the jewels. I removed it slowly and didn’t have any trouble. I was a little nervous about the elastic strap on the back irritating my heels, but it didn’t hurt at all. It’s made from a softer material, so it was gentle on my Achilles’ tendon. They’re lightly cushioned, although I wouldn’t want to be on my feet all day in them. They don’t provide any arch support, so I wouldn’t really consider them a walking sandal. They’re great for a dressy, flat shoe, though!
