Review on πŸ”’ Secure Your Journey with Travelon Anti Theft Classic Large Backpack by Michael Tarlue

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Versatile backpack, I recommend. with some limitations

I bought this for a week long trip to Central America, with two main considerations in mind: use it for carry-on (pack my laptop and other electronics in it, as well as a change of clothes and emergency toiletries so they're not in my large checked bag) and for all my studies/hikes upon arrival. In fact, this bag has been used a lot in one week - through ruins, through torrential rain, PLUS four flights - and overall it's performed decently. to tasks! Pros: 1. It fits best out of the half dozen good backpacks I've tested before. (I have a tiny build - 5'4" and weigh 95 pounds - so most large backpacks are REALLY uncomfortable, pressing too low on my lower back and the shoulder straps are too wide for my very narrow shoulders (and often too long) .adjusted vertically enough); 2. Showers got the inside *slightly* wet/wet, but overall I'd say this bag survives light rain with no problem.(Next time I'll take a waterproof bag.) 3. This Bag has A wide variety of pockets and dividers which I found very useful. Easy to use as a work piece helps to see into deep recesses TERRIBLE l) Straps on the back to hook onto the handle of your wheeled suitcase.9.Double pockets for water bottles and umbrellas on the sides that can be folded in case of non-ge need to close easily. Cons: 1. He doesn't sit down by himself. In fact, it pretty much tips over no matter what I lean it on, so. something to consider.2. ALL BLACK. (Good for everyday use but NOT ideal for outdoor use. Mine now looks permanently weather worn underneath after wearing it around ancient ruins for 3 days.) 3. No chest strap. (I ended up having to tuck my thumbs into the straps to better place the weight where it should be - when I wasn't using my arms for climbing etc! - so I'll definitely be using a third-party chest strap in the future. )4. No phone pocket on the side or back of the backpack. (If I had pants or shorts with big enough pockets it didn't matter much, but if I didn't have I didn't feel comfortable taking off my backpack or asking my friend for help when I needed to fish out my phone. ) That said, this is definitely one of the most comfortable and versatile backpacks I've used, so I'm giving it a thumbs up.

Pros
  • Front compartment has an organizer with slots for RFID blocked cards and passports, an open pocket and a top zip pocket, 2 pen loops and an attached key clip with LED light
Cons
  • Clarity
