This filler goes well with my leather seats and interior, fills the space well without blocking emergency brake access or restricting leg and seat space. If you don't want to use cup holders, a pillow is fine in terms of durability. I prefer the additional use of cup holder attachments so I added some cardboard along with the pillow to make it a little smaller. stiffer making it stronger for holding bottles and cans without eventually sagging as it's just a cushion pad. Overall this works for what I was looking for, fills the gap well and gives me additional cheaper cup holders (I've never been a fan of BMW's cup holders so this solves my problem) and it's not something to worry about , to avoid fries or coins falling between the seats
