The first thing that struck me about the packaging was its weight. Not heavy, but "solid". The box that this wallet comes in is elegant, simple and sophisticated. A small magnet hidden under the leather upper keeps the lid closed. Lifting the lid reveals a comfortable velvet velor material creating a smooth and soft interior. Leather case top wallet wrapped in protective parchment paper. Underneath the wallet, you'll be greeted by a leather sample that reads "Made from Genuine Leather" and two money straps. Money bands are well designed with strong stretch and durable stitching. A laser-cut metal "F" emblem sits at the center. It's a nice touch if you decide against a leather case and use a "bare" wallet. It maintains a modern and minimalistic look while retaining all the features. The leather case is very beautiful and nestles perfectly against the wallet. It feels smooth and is very durable. You can rest assured that this case will be marked when in the same pocket as your keys. They have an icon in the lower right front corner of their name. Also demure and supple. This does not detract from the aesthetics of the case. The purse (metal part) fits perfectly in the hand. The edges are not too sharp or rounded. You don't have to worry about it scratching or cutting your hand or slipping out and falling to the ground. The lever is a sliding lever. I like it more than the levers of similar wallets from different companies. This almost eliminates the chance of accidentally expanding your cards. The lever was a bit stiff at first, but I'll book it as new. I tried 6 cards and everything worked fine, but it took a little more "wit" than expected. I took a card and left 5 there and the handle was smooth as melted butter. There was some initial resistance at the lever, but once that's gone it glides well. I can't help but think this is part of the design to further protect your cards from accidental ejections. I will be back in 6 months to provide an updated estimate. For the price this is the best quality.
