The insulation broke within a day.

The cable insulation broke after a few days of brief use. Now the charger will not charge if the cable is not in the right position. However, the cable fits my Dell Inspiron laptop as promised (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01L8PENQM/ref=cm_cr_othr_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8). It's surprisingly hard to find charging cables for these laptops, so this might be your only option.
