I had to buy boards at my local hardware store to make sure they wouldn't come loose from the wall for extra support as my studs aren't spaced properly and the setup for this set is the normal spacing between them. But if you take the time to install it, your cats will love you. Additionally, any existing wall tower system requires effort and hassle for installation and additional equipment. This company goes above and beyond. They provided simple instructions on how everything works and fits together, as well as drill bits and amazing quality catnip to introduce your cats to the wall tower. My cats couldn't resist the included catnip and were all over the catnip during installation and I had to remove it when I was done using it.
