Review on Military Tactical πŸŽ’ Suspender Backpack with Harness by Katie Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap, simple camera support!

I received these brackets to build a mobile camera stand for a Canon XF300 and they work great! By adding an ammo belt and a small cell phone holster, I was able to mount the camera on the monopod and then slip the monopod leg into the holster. The D-rings on the braces give me an attachment point for straps and carabiners so I can connect the monopod to my braces. With the extra attachment point, I never have to worry about my camera falling! Using this product as a camera support is NOT a stabilizing device. It will not smooth video of a walk like Glidecam or Steadicam. But it puts all the weight of a big and heavy Handycam-style camera (like the Canon XF-300/305) on your shoulders and waist, meaning you can shoot with this thing all day without even resting your wrist . and hands. And because the monopod is adjustable, you can raise or lower the camera in an instant to capture any shot you want. And if you just need to remove the monopod, unholster it, extend it, and there you have it, a stable stationary support. You can even leave the monopod attached to your suspenders for added security!
