I was looking for good sources to use as a reference for coloring with markers and this book came at just the right time! The book sounds like a Copic advertisement (which it is), but it gives a great overview of the many different concepts and techniques you need to be aware of when using markers. The best part is that the book shows the work of various artists and gives a brief description of how they color their characters. Keep in mind that this is not a book about drawing. Although the book doesn't detail every coloring process, it gives you the foundation you need to start coloring yourself! In short, this book will make a fantastic reference book for any aspiring artist. Note: You do not need Copic markers to post anything in this book. All concepts and techniques apply to whatever marker or paper you choose to use. Results will vary if you're not using Copic products, but the point is that you understand how to paint and how to apply it to different objects and characters.
