Small, compact and simple
The Opteka Micro Professional Director's Viewfinder is a good tool for filmmakers who want to compose shots in advance. The viewfinder is easy to use without instructions. 5 year warranty (estimated), the box includes a small cleaning cloth, a soft case and a neck strap. The zoom range is 18-200mm (full frame), however beyond 50mm the viewfinder field of view becomes unusable. I only use 18-50mm distance, it's very hard to see further. You can adjust your TV's aspect ratio up to 16:9, up to cinematic 2.35.1 or 2.55.1. In general, I use the Opteka Micro Director viewfinder for quick composition planning while still looking fashionable.
