First of all, I'm surprised it was so affordable, especially considering how durable it seems. I confess I thought it was weak, but it's solid and intelligently built. It has good lifting power, allows you to position the computer at the desired angle, and has several rubberized areas on the bottom to prevent the stand from slipping. I am a teacher and tutor and use it for teaching from home. Sometimes I use it with an external bluetooth keyboard (also OMOTON) but not always. I used to put my computer on top of some books for classes and tutoring. Not only does this give me more room at the bottom, but it also allows the keyboard to sit at a more natural typing angle than a stack of flat books (or a box of puzzles). I also like that it makes it easier to use my graphics tablet (for math classes) which gives me more workspace. Last but not least, there's no Zoom double chin, which is surprisingly important.
