I got blisters after walking about 12,000 steps. Too much traction can also be an advantage over long distances. Although grip may not be an issue. Maybe they are too loose (maybe I need to order one size smaller) or the contact between the feet and the inside of the shoe is too slippery. Mainly because my foot slips in my shoes when I wear socks. I'll probably always wear socks to keep my shoes from smelling. Still 5 stars for quality and price
