The pants are light but not that see through so I like them. I also like that the distance from the crotch to the waistband of the pants is very large. I don't have to worry that when my daughter sits down, her underwear or tears will be visible. That being said, because they go so far, my daughter doesn't like them. I caught her with her pants and her crotch relaxed. Not sure if they break easily if worn properly all the time, but I know I bought 3 packs of 3 and had to fix at least half of them. So. In summary, what I liked about them (high waist) my 8 year old daughter didn't like. I think if the distance was half that it would satisfy both of us - something I can try because I'm going to fall.
