I bought this to mount my Akaso EK5000 action camera. I read reviews that the standard case that came with it was brittle and prone to cracking. So I got that as a backup. I'm very glad I did this. My pantry housing ruptured and started leaking, not much but more than I wanted. The rest of the time I used this suitcase for a trip to Miami and the Caribbean. It worked exactly as it should and I like the locking mechanism better than the stock one. I've never had a problem with any of the mounts, nor a leak, even after a long time snorkeling and snorkling.
