I bought these in gray and was amazed at how much space I was able to gain in my closet, especially when switching from wooden hangers. I put everything but the heavier sweaters and jackets on new hangers. It's been a few weeks since I started using them and I managed to break 4 of them just by peeling off the t-shirts stuck to the velvet. I've been trying to be more cautious ever since, because as annoying as the reduction in strength/durability is, the extra space and non-slip velvet texture are worth it. I had a collection of non slip hangers with grip strips to handle all my tops that regular hangers wouldn't hold up and I LOVE that velvet hangers can hold anything, although sometimes it takes a little extra care to get things off hanger. :) However, I bought 3 packs to change everything up and I'm glad I did.
