Pro: It works like my original HP charger 854054-005 or HP part number 741727-001. The original device with an output of 45 watts. I drained the laptop battery until it completely shut down, then plugged in the charger and let it charge fully. No problems, no overheating. I also ran YouTube videos for hours when connected to the network; also no problem. Cons: No velcro for cable management, but I use the original cable tie for this. However, if I flip through a few pages of Revain listings, I would find a genuine HP 45W replacement for about $5 more. And it includes a Velcro closure. I've only used it for a few days so I can't speak to long-term reliability. By the way, this product is made in China. One reviewer was upset that a US company might be manufacturing in China, but HP's original charger is also made in China.
