Great 4 Everyday Tea/Poetry

We bought this teapot to treat children to Julie Bogart's poetry. I liked the look of the glass as soon as I saw it. I didn't want white or floral teapots on the table anymore. Teapots are generally fragile so the thin glass didn't put me off. The convenience was a bonus for us. I didn't expect to like it to be honest. I thought it would be a mess to get out and run. I like it so far. The tea pours well so it doesn't splatter on the duvet cover and is easy to put on and take off. Made today with one hand with no problems. Ultimately I plan to use my embroidery machine on it to set it up. Black would be a great canvas for me. We end up having to buy mugs to match the teapot, but the clear glass teapot seems to match what we have at the moment. Before that I used different things. including plug-in kettle, instant hot water dispenser, ceramic kettle, I've used old-school kettles in between. It's much better, faster and more accurate. The cost of using tea has already come down. Making tea bags per cup like we did with an instant water dispenser to save time was getting expensive! The lid fits perfectly when pouring. Cozy with or without tea stays pretty hot. We never had to warm up. So far we only have positive impressions of the teapot. Delivery included. Nothing broke or anything like that. We got an email from the company which I really liked asking if we got the pot, did we like it etc. Just very personal and professional. I've never had a seller on Amazon like this ever email me. Makes you want to buy more of these as gifts! :D The description says that's enough for 3-4 cups, but we get 6 and a bit is left for our cups. You can see in the picture. Just the right size for us (3 cups) with 2 refill packs each. Cozy, we get compliments both ways. I don't have a particular preference as the tea stays quite hot without it. Definitely his tea party keeper. That's great. I use PG Tips tea in the brew area and it works great. Not just for loose tea for those interested. The small basket slides up and out to unload packages when you're done. I thought it would be difficult to clean with all the parts but it washes out immediately with hot water before any soap for those interested in cleaning. I don't need a bottle brush or anything like that. I've had a number of different pots over the years and they would get this brown residue after only a few uses from just heating and sitting and the ceramics would crack or turn yellowish if the seal was defective. So far I haven't had such problems since it's glass. Just very nice and easy after a day of reading with the little ones. It is small and light enough that it can be watered with ease. My kids are older and pour tons of tea. experience and care. Just to add FYI to let people know I do not recommend letting small children or clumsy guests pour their own hot tea into a glass unaided. This is a really cute kettle and the price is reasonable for what you get. I reviewed a few cheaper glass jars on Amazon and we chose this one because some of the other jars reviewed had leaks from these other sellers banging tops. Shipping I was able to find out why the product broke. Quite different when parts are the wrong size. Didn't take that risk. Overall, it's worth paying a little more to get a better product from a company that stands behind their products.
