I like this bar stool. It is very comfortable, durable and beautiful. The reason for only 4 stars is the color and size of the seat. I found the same stool in gray but it was 30 inches long; too high for a stand. Gray would be perfect for my rack. I'm still thinking about restoring or painting the seat. A smaller diameter seat would have looked much better. better for a 24 inch stool and still comfortable. The 18-inch seat looks a bit clunky and takes up a lot of space. In other reviews, people have complained about the lack of detail. I thought I was missing washers for two of my chairs, but when I first assembled them I found that the oil on the washers sometimes caused them to stick together. When I had enough washer I found that it was glued to another. seats. The third did. It was very easy to remove the four screws holding the seat to the frame, remove the plastic and put the seat back in place. It was very difficult to get between the four legs. I had to loosen all the leg screws and put a lot of effort to put it back on. When I got to the third stool, I had placed two opposite legs, left the screws loose, attached the leg to rest on those two legs, and then put the two legs back in place. I left all the screws loose until everything was aligned. What a learning curve!
