you are so cute My daughter loves the swirly dresses and considering how the skirt area stretches when she does 360 in it, she is happy with it. I have tried buying a few other brands and found that they are made of thicker material, wash well, do not fade or shrink and you will find that this is an elasticated waist skirt. Other brands started with the skirt fabric 5 inches lower probably to save on the cost of the fabric but this impacted the torsional strength so they were brought back. I actually bought a size up and they were a little long and a little loose but definitely not too big. Love it.
