I haven't had that many video calls since the pandemic. Not only do I video call co-workers, but almost all webinars and online courses require me to be on screen. But it seems like I look absolutely horrible on screen no matter what I'm doing or where I'm sitting. I decided to give this device a try to fix the problem as it looked simple enough to fit on my laptop and I heard a huge difference in video calls. I'm very glad I did. This light instantly removes any shadows that made me look tired and disinterested on my previous video calls. And it's very easy to set up. I'm by no means tech savvy, but I plugged it in and it was up and running within minutes of unpacking it. I love that you can set the light in different hues and brightness levels so you don't look like a deer in the headlights and can find the most flattering shade for your complexion. It also feels sturdy and well made so I'm sure it will last a long time. The only downside I see is that it's a bit big, I would have preferred a smaller light as I use it on my laptop. Also, it needs to be plugged into my USB port while I'm using it, meaning your headphones can't be plugged in at the same time if you only have one USB port available.
