I was initially very happy with this case but soon realized that it would be impossible to type anything as the trackpad kept jerking with a palm on it. I will be returning this item and believe it is not defective, it is just by design. not touching the trackpad with my palm without treating it as a right-click and highlighting what I've written, and when I continue typing, replacing the word with the next letter I typed. All the reviews on this item seem to be good because you are offered a free item for writing a positive review. I can assure anyone reading this that they should test the new keyboard themselves and they will find the same error with no possible solution. To fix this issue, I feel compelled to recommend that others spend the extra money that comes with Apple's magic keyboard rather than wasting money and time on this frustrating element. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Amazon tech support, called them twice and spoke to Apple tech support last night. There is no solution for this problem yet.
