It definitely fits comfortably on the remote control. I haven't found a glow in the dark that's as good, but I have to admit that it doesn't get daylight, just the light of a table lamp. Of course I didn't think of that when I ordered it, but given how snug it fits it will probably be a bit of a hassle to take it off to change the batteries when needed and then put it back on. I don't know how many times the lid survives the on/off cycle, but I don't have to change the batteries more than twice a year, usually only once. This will prevent the remote from picking up dust and other debris from your hands around the buttons.
