My beehives are based at a local winery tucked away behind one of the vineyards and I always worry about one of our "more adventurous" guests drinking too much and wandering around the grounds graze (which they more than welcome), bump into beehives and do something stupid. Last year a tractor accidentally ran into one of them and knocked it over and the occupants just carried on, so the bees really are quite docile, but there's a limit to what they can take and some fools might think that this a great idea is - to knock on the lid or, God forbid, to put your hand where it shouldn't. Yeah, great selfie with that swollen face man. Not everyone who wanders is lost, but some can be really stupid. In any case, I plan to hang this sign on the olive tree closest to the beehives on the main trail. That should work.
