Funny packaging issues (package was smaller than a drink coaster but came without paper or padding in a box larger than a shoe box), I have no issues with this product. They fit snugly in my 2009 GTI license plate light housings and light up when they should. Installation is easy (a few screws on each side, then pull out the old bulb and insert the new one). I've had aftermarket LEDs in cases that would flicker intermittently and then fail completely, and unfortunately they're nowhere near as "beautiful" as LEDs, but for a few bucks they put out unwavering light and keep you from stalling. . Look for a blown bulb while you decide whether to revisit the price and obvious hassle of LEDs.
